Kings Place Announces Partnership with StreamUK

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with broadcasting and technology experts StreamUK that will see the venue remain at the cutting edge of what we can offer to our clients.

As event organisers’ need for reliable real-time streaming and messaging increases, so too has the necessity for a robust media platform. The partnership means that Kings Place will be able to handle live HD streaming as well bespoke microsite options, such as password protection, slide sync, Q&A and real-time audience polling. Clients will also be able to enjoy on-demand options, where their events are stored online for a number of weeks after the event, allowing for data capture, post-event statistics and analysis.

Recently, Kings Place partnered with StreamUK to deliver their first live streamed event for Mothercare. The client wanted to broadcast their London event to their national and international offices. Kings Place managed the event production and filming, and StreamUK managed all aspects of the webcast. The player sat within a branded microsite, designed by StreamUK, with HD and lo-res video options.

The two companies started working together in 2010 on ad-hoc events that needed specific streaming options, with talks beginning towards the end of 2014 regarding partnering together in an official capacity.
