We’re delighted to announce that Kings Place Events was awarded twice at the 2013 Event Awards, having been named ‘Event Space of the Year’ – in the medium sized venue category – and ‘Venue Team of the Year’ at the industry awards showcase at the Roundhouse on Friday 4th October 2013.
We beat fierce competition in both categories, including major UK venues such as The Roundhouse, Science Museum, The Natural History Museum, The Roof Gardens, Imperial War Museum and Troxy. The annual Event Awards, run by Haymarket’s Event Magazine, are the only industry awards that celebrate the creative, exhibition and experiential sectors of the live events industry.
The awards, coinciding with the building’s fifth birthday, further highlight the success that we’ve seen since opening in 2008, fast becoming the go-to venue of choice for some of the world’s biggest brands. Kings Place was the only venue to be honoured with two awards on an evening that celebrated the best of the events industry.
On the company’s success, Business Development Director, Lucy Wright said ‘to be nominated for two awards at such a prestigious event was impressive, but to win both is very special and illustrates the quality of our venue, product and people. To achieve this, as well as other awards, within five years of launching demonstrates our ambition and dedication.’
