Kings Place Events was honoured twice at the 2014 Foodservice Cateys when we walked away with the award for ‘Event Caterer of the Year’ and Business Development Director, Lucy Wright, with the gong for ‘Salesperson of the Year’. The awards, run by industry publication The Caterer were held at the Westminster Park Plaza on Friday 10th October and recognise excellence across the catering and food service industry.
Kings Place Events beat fierce competition in both categories, including major UK caterers Sodexo, Ampersand, and Baxterstorey and were the only venue team to be honoured with two awards. This is the second consecutive year that we have been honoured at the Foodservice Cateys, in 2013 we were awarded ‘Retail & Leisure Caterer of the Year’.
The awards, which coincide with our sixth birthday, highlight the success that we have had since opening in 2008. In just a few short years Kings Place has become the go-to venue of choice for the world’s biggest brands where the best people in the industry want to work. We add the ‘Event Caterer of the Year’ and ‘Salesperson of the Year’ Awards to our existing honours of ‘Event Space of the Year’ and ‘Venue Team of the Year’ from the Event Awards 2013.
