We’re Multi-Award Winners!
We've won multiple awards at the 2023 Food Service Cateys and the London Venue and Catering Awards.
We are delighted to announce that our parent company and in-house caterer Green & Fortune scooped the gold award in the ‘Caterer of the Year’ category at the 2023 London Venue and Catering Awards. This accolade follows two wins at the Foodservice Cateys in October, where Green & Fortune were crowned both ‘Boutique Caterer of the Year’ as well as ‘Event Caterer of the Year’.
At the Conference and Events Awards in June 2023, Kings Place Events secured a bronze in the ‘Most Versatile Venue’ category, followed by a silver award for ‘Best Conference Venue’ at the London Venue and Catering Awards in October. Our South Bank sister sites Rose Court Events and Sea Containers Events were both shortlisted for several categories, including ‘Best Venue with a View’, ‘Best Summer Party Venue’ and ‘Best New or Refurbished Venue’. Rose Court Events fought off some tough competition, and brought home a silver award in the last category.
The Caterer of the Year award is company-wide and recognises excellence in operations and delivery at all Green & Fortune venues, including Kings Place Events. The judges commented “This was a large team, with a diverse and organised operation and a strong innovation for good. They were client-centric with a lovely company ethos and great delivery. They seemed to have moved into the mainstream without losing any of their entrepreneurial and qualitative flair that set them apart from the competition from the start.”
The Foodservice Cateys judges called Green & Fortune unique and brilliant, and recognised a nimble and reactive approach to clients, impressive ESG commitments and also commended their sensitive approach to supporting staff with the cost of living crisis. In regard to the Event Caterer of the Year category, judges were impressed by the expertise shown in delivering outstanding events and commented that Green & Fortune maximised our multi-venue offerings to attract a range of clients while also supporting an array of industry charities.
