Two wins at the Foodservice Cateys
The Foodservice Cateys took place on the evening of Friday 11th October and we are delighted to have been named winners in two categories.
Green & Fortune, who deliver all catering and the delivery of events under Kings Place Events, came home with the award for Boutique Caterer of the Year, a new category at the awards, which recognises the delivery of innovation and value to clients and customers alongside evident commercial success over the last 12 months.
Alongside this, our Chef Director, Jason Wild was named Chef of the Year, the judges commented that he was a worthy winner who unanimously rose to the top of a strong set of entries.
Both awards celebrate the success we have seen over the last 12 months, especially the marking of our 10 year anniversary with the investment in a refurbishment of all our spaces at Kings Place to include the Battlebridge Room, Rotunda bar and restaurant and Green & Fortune Café at Kings Place.
As well as Jason Wild winning the Chef of the Year category, our Business Development Director, Rebecca Harris was also one of four shortlisted in the Salesperson of the Year category for her work managing the sales and events team of Kings Place Events.
The Foodervice Cateys are organised by the Caterer magazine and celebrate the individuals, teams and businesses shaping the foodservice industry.
Now in their seventh year, the Foodservice Cateys in partnership with Seafood Week celebrate and recognise the people working tirelessly to make sure their business delivers an exceptional service day in, day out.
