St. Patrick’s Day @ Home range launched in support of two charities
Sales from the boxes will include donations to two charities – The Clink Charity and The London Irish Centre.
Our on-site restaurant, Rotunda Bar and Restaurant has added a St. Patrick’s Day special to the Rotunda @ Home delivery service.
Sales from the boxes will include donations to two charities – The Clink Charity and The London Irish Centre.
The last two years have seen us hold a St. Patrick’s Day fundraising lunch at Kings Place, raising almost £40,000 in total. This year with COVID-19 having put paid to a live event, the day is being marked with an at home menu.
Starting at £95 for two people, the 5-course restaurant kits are available nationwide, to enjoy on St. Patrick’s Day itself, 17th March, and the weekends before and after. Upgrade options include wine and Irish inspired cocktails such as a Black Velvet and an Irish Boulevardier.
£10 of each sale will be donated to the two charities and for every box sold we will make an additional donation of £5, bringing the total donation to £15 per each at home kit. Each sale also includes free entry into a prize draw with prizes including a summer barbecue for up to ten people in Rotunda bar and restaurant, four tickets to The 2022 Clink Charity Ball at the Royal Lancaster and eight week Irish language course at the London Irish Centre.
Continuing the relationship first established in 2008 when Green & Fortune employed the first ever Clink graduate, Clink graduates will also be volunteering to assist the Green & Fortune team in preparing the food boxes for delivery.

The Clink works in partnership with Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation service to provide training programmes in prisons across the UK, giving inmates the skills needed to secure work in the hospitality industry after release.
The London Irish Centre works to create a hub of culture and support for London’s Irish community, with an outreach programme to provide care for those in need.
The St. Patrick’s Day @ Home launch is the latest initiative in a year of charitable support from Green & Fortune and Kings Place Events, who have been making and donating 100 meals a week to two local charities, the London Irish Centre and the Copenhagen Street Foodbank. Initially started to support local residents in need during the lock-down period this has now become part of the company’s charitable commitments.
John Nugent, Chief Executive of Green & Fortune, commented “We are determined to ensure the day doesn’t pass without us marking the occasion to build upon the success of the last two years. While it’s disappointing that we can’t hold an event in person this year, it’s more important than ever that we raise funds for these two great charities.
“The boxes are a great way to mark the day at home or to send to clients, colleagues or friends as a gift. The lunch will be back next year and is sure to be bigger and better than ever!”
Christopher Moore, Chief Executive of The Clink Charity, added “I would like to thank the Green and Fortune team for their continued support of our work in reducing reoffending. We are immensely grateful for their generosity especially during such times as these. I really hope that our customers order this fantastic St Patrick’s Day meal from Green and Fortune to cook at home and by doing so know that they are helping The Clink Charity to continue to change attitudes, transform lives and create second chances.”
Ellen Ryan, CEO London Irish Centre comments “St. Patrick’s Day is a highlight of The London Irish Centre’s year. It is a chance for us to celebrate the best of our culture with Londoners across the city and wider.
“Although this year we cannot welcome people as we usually would, we have created an exciting virtual ‘St. Patrick’s Special’ event with the Mayor of London and partners. “This event will bring diverse Irish community, culture, and craic to all who want an authentic taste of Ireland. Expect music, fun and festive conversation, with lots of special guests.
“We are delighted to be adding a partnership with John Nugent and the team at the Rotunda Bar and Restaurant to the celebrations.”
